All legal advice, consultations, and services are provided solely by the independent Advocates registered on the Platform.
2.3 The Platform facilitates:
• Discovery of lawyers for specific matters,
• Booking of paid or free consultations,
• Communication and document exchange, and
• Secure payment and record management.
2.4 Legalist.in does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or outcome of any advice, representation, or service provided by the lawyers listed on the Platform.

ELIGIBILITY
3.1 You must:
• Be at least 18 years old, and
• Be legally competent to enter into contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
3.2 If you are using Legalist.in on behalf of a company or organization, you must have proper authorization to bind that entity to these Terms.
3.3 Legalist.in reserves the right to deny or terminate access to anyone at its sole discretion.

ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
4.1 To use certain services, you may be required to register an account by providing accurate and complete details including your name, email address, and phone number.
4.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities occurring under your account.

• The fee, timeline, and deliverables are mutually decided between the User and the Lawyer.
• Legalist.in may facilitate payment and communication but is not a party to the client-lawyer contract.
3. Workshops, Webinars, or Awareness Campaigns:
• Legalist.in may offer paid or free awareness programs related to legal rights, cyber fraud, etc.
• These are educational and not to be treated as professional legal consultation.

PAYMENT TERMS
7.1 Payments for paid services or consultations are processed via secure payment gateways integrated on the Platform.
7.2 Legalist.in collects payments on behalf of the Service Providers. Upon completion of the service, the agreed portion is transferred to the Lawyer.
7.3 Payments made are non-refundable once the service has commenced, except as per refund policies published on the Platform.
7.4 Users must not make payments to lawyers directly outside the Platform for services initiated through Legalist.in.

USER OBLIGATIONS
You agree that you shall not:
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or misrepresentation.
• Upload or transmit defamatory, abusive, obscene, or offensive content.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.

• Legalist.in, its employees, affiliates, or partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or services.
• The total liability of Legalist.in, if any, shall not exceed the total amount paid by the User to Legalist.in in the preceding 12 months.

TERMINATION
